Off-Campus Access - Proxy

When to Use: Ideal for research sessions that require quick and easy access. 

How to Connect: Click on the Proxy Login button to login with your UC ID Username (6+2) and Central Login PasswordOnce you login, you'll be returned to this guide and can begin your research.

Off-Campus Access - VPN

UC Access Only

AnyConnect replaced Pulse Secure as UC's VPN client on March 1, 2019.

When to Use: Ideal method for longer research sessions up to 24 hours. You can login to the VPN, or install a client on your device. (If you are a UC faculty, staff, or currently enrolled student, Secure Access via the VPN is recommended when accessing UC resources from off campus).

How to Connect: There are two different methods for utilizing the VPN

  1. UC Online Access-Login
  2. VPN Software Installation for Access

Connecting to VPN: Once installed, open the VPN AnyConnect client from your computer/device, enter your UC username and password and click Login. Then launch your browser and begin your research.
