
UC will replace Pulse Secure as UC's VPN client on March 1st 2019, and replace it with AnyConnect. AnyConnect will provide the same level of off-campus access to UC's network as Pulse Secure, while providing for greater security. Both AnyConnect and Pulse Secure will work until March 1st. After March 1, only AnyConnect will work.
When to Use: Ideal method for longer research sessions up to 24 hours. You can login to the VPN, or install a client on your device. (If you are a UC faculty, staff, or currently enrolled student, Secure Access via the VPN is recommended when accessing UC resources from off campus).
How to Connect: There are two different methods for utilizing the VPN

- VPN Software Installation for Access
Connecting to VPN: Once installed, open the VPN AnyConnect client from your computer/device, enter your UC username and password and click Login. Then launch your browser and begin your research.
