EndNote

EndNote Basic is a free service.  Anyone can set up an EndNote Basic account.   EndNote Basic may be used as an independent personal information and citation management tool, but it lacks many of the functionalities and display capabilities of the desktop version of EndNote.

 

List of the EndNote Basic functions and parameters follows:

• Create a library with up to 50,000 references by electronically importing or manually adding references.
• Includes direct access to 5 popular databases which enables immediate exporting of records from these databases.

• Enables management of references, including limited use of groups and attachment of full text records
• Provides storage for up to 2GB of attachments.
• Enables the installation and use a webpage capture utiltity.
• Enables the installation and use the cite-while-you-write utility for MS Word, including the use of 21 popular outstyles
