Important Deadlines for Indiana Primary Voting

The following dates apply to residents in the state of Indiana for the 2024 Presidential Primary Election.

The last day to register to vote or update your voter registration in Indiana is: April 8, 2024

Absentee Ballot Deadlines:

The last day to request to receive a paper absentee ballot by mail in Indiana is: April 25, 2024
The last day to request a Military/Overseas Federal Post Card Application is: May 6, 2024
General Indiana absentee ballot must be received by: May 7, 2024 by 6pm.
- Note: Because your ballot must be received by election day, if at all possible, it is highly recommended to mail back your absentee ballot ASAP due to mail disruptions. POSTMARKS ON ELECTION DAY DO NOT COUNT.

Early In-Person Voting Dates:

Early In-Person Voting begins in Indiana April 9, 2024 and ends May 6, 2024
