Degrees granted. The Computer Science Department offers the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering jointly with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
Research focus. The notable research areas within the department are: Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Networks. They are developing a concentration in Computer Security as well.
