ELS/ESL Students' Guide to Library Resources

Using Libraries Online and in Person

This guide provides links to resources you need for most writing assignments. All links are coded to prompt you to login for off-campus access if you are working off-campus.

To login to the server and library computers you need a username and password. Please obtain them from the ELS office or ask your English instructor for assistance.

Several library computers do not require login and library staff can always log you in, but you need to know your username and password in order to use library resources anywhere anytime.

If you need to print out materials at the library outside of library classes you need to add money (7 cents per page) to your Bearcat card. A machine is available at the 400 Level of Langsam Library behind the staircase.

You can also check out books and use other library services. See what your library privileges are.

Please remember that library assistance is always available. Please contact Olga Hart or see all available help options.
