CEAS Library Classroom

The Library Classroom, 850D Baldwin, is available for students, staff, and faculty for group presentations & instruction. It contains an instructor workstation with a data projector and document camera, as well as a connection for projecting laptops.  A fleet of laptops is also available for instructional use (see library staff).


IMPORTANT: If your group would like to use Library Classroom 850D, please reserve your use on the Sign-Up Sheet located near the classroom entrance.  Reservations are limited to 2 hours.  To reserve the classroom beyond the current week, see library staff.

Group Study Rooms

There are three group study rooms available: 1) capacity of up to 8 people, 2) capacity of up to 6 people, 3) capacity of up to 3. Active network jacks in this area are F0184 (room 850B) and F0168 (room 850E). Room 850F contains a wireless display monitor with connections for Windows/Android devices (AirMedia, Miracast) and iOS devices (Apple TV).

These rooms are intended for group collaboration.  Individuals are asked to use study carrels that are located throughout the library.

Group Study Area

In addition to the 3 Group Study Rooms, the CEAS Library provides an open non-reserved space for group collaboration.

Use whiteboards and a Brainstorming table to discuss and draw out your ideas. Dry erase markers and erasers are available to borrow at the Circulation desk.
