Federal Public Access Policies

Public Access Policy Information

SPARC has an excellent website resource (http://datasharing.sparcopen.org/) with descriptions of federal funding agency public access policies released after the February 2013 Office of Science and Technology Policy memo requiring all federal funding agencies with more than $100 million in research funds to design a Public Access Plan.

Additionally use this site  from Ohio State to find the appropriate funding agency and see links to their policies and information about when they go into effect, data management plan requirements, timelines, and recommended article repositories.
