Summon:
Use your team's Keyword Map worksheet to start searching Summon (Find Sources page or Articles search box on UC Libraries website) to find articles and more.

Databases:
UC Libraries have access to industry and market report databases like IBISWorld and Plunkett Research Online that may be helpful. Find these databases plus others on this page.

Strategies:

  • Find potential key concepts and keywords in various sources (e.g. non-profit organization's website, marketing materials, strategic plan)
  • Consider broad and narrow key concepts and keywords​​​​​​, especially when searching for specific types of sources (e.g. scholarly journal articles)
  • Examples: nonprofits, not-for-profits, philanthropy, donations, grants, foundations, endowments, social causes, fund raising, charitable, foundations, corporate giving, social responsibility, charities, management, administration, mission statements, strategic planning
