Data Sources - Political Science

This is an overview of UC library resources available to political science graduate students and faculty relating to research data management.

Research & Data Services

UC Libraries provides access to a wide range of Research Data and GIS services and resources for the campus community. Informationists and librarians are available to assist researchers in managing and preserving research data, finding and acquiring external data, and in utilizing GIS techniques and software.  The library also provides a variety of computing and collaboration spaces to support researchers.

Data Management Plans

RDS is pleased to offer assistance on reviewing Data Management Plans for researchers submitting grants for federal funds.  Workshops are also available for departments, groups, or general audience. 

Workshops and Education

RDS offers workshops on data management, data visualization, data cleaning, data storage, author impact, GIS, Story Maps, and many other topics.

We also offer, in partnership with The Office of Research IT Computing, the Data & Computational Science Series, sponsored by Office of the Provost Universal Providers Award for Faculty development to enhance the quality of faculty members’ engagement in teaching, research, service, & leadership.
