Data Axle Reference Solutions is a database providing access to information on over 64 million businesses and more than 307 million consumers. Business listings include such data as company names, phone numbers, complete addresses, key executive names, SIC Codes, employee size, sales volume, geo-codes for mapping, contact details, franchise and brand information, news, liens, judgments and bankruptcies, and credit rating scores. Residential listings are processed through U.S. and Canadian National Change of Address and Delivery Sequence File continuously. U.S. residential listings also contain recent census information, including median household income, median home value, latitude/longitude, and percentage of owner-occupied housing.
You can access Reference Solutions through many public libraries. The Hamilton County Public Library provides access to this database to their library patrons.
Most of the results retrieved are from other search databases that charge a fee, but these can still be a good start.
Click the menu icon in the very top left of the page. Select the Public Records link. Note that our academic subscription does not allow access to all public records information.
Use the Westlaw Public Records link (under the Browse All Content page). Note that not all databases listed are available via the law school account.
To conduct a People Search, select People under the Getting Started section on the main Bloomberg Law page. Note that the people profiles consist of business and legal professionals as opposed to public records type information.
