 Search the library catalog

• Use AUTHOR search to find text by the author and selected materials about the author.
• Use SUBJECT search to find materials about your author, subject, etc. See selected suggested subject headings below.
• Use KEYWORD search if you need to combine several concepts. The advanced keyword search screen also allows you to specify in which field your term should be found and limit your search to certain material types, by language, etc. Keyword search tips.

Other catalogs

One way of finding e-books is by searching the Library catalog.

On the UC Libraries home page click the Books tab in the red search box. Click "Advanced Search."

• Enter your search term(s).
• From the "Material type" drop-down menu select "book."
• From the "Limit all future searches to:" drop-down menu select "Online Books, Databases, and Journals."
• Click "Submit" or hit "Enter."

In the results list click on the title.

You may have more than option for accessing the e-book, including off-campus access.

Do a search in Summon.

On the results page click in the left-hand pane under "Refine your search" click on "eBook Full Text Online."
