NEW RefWorks (The Next-Generation RefWorks)

A new version of RefWorks is now available.

Save to RefWorks Bookmarklet

Using the "Save to RefWorks" utility to capture references and full-text articles

Save to RefWorks is an easy to use utility that installs in any web browser.  The Save to RefWorks bookmarklet grabs information from any web page – in some cases complete articles – and adds the captured content to your RefWorks library.   This utility also works for hundreds of databases from selected vendors/hosts.  Currently,  both ProQuest and EBSCOhost databases are compatible with this utility.  Articles in PDF format available "directly" from these vendors/hosts can be easily captured and added to your RefWorks library.

To add the Save to RefWorks bookmarklet to your browser, click on the More icon  and select Tools.   Simply drag the Save to RefWorks bookmarklet to your browser.  Once you’ve installed it, go to any web page and click on Save to RefWorks  to capture the information.

You can save a set of search results or an individual article - the choice is yours.  You can easily edit metadata prior to importing into RefWorks.

See the Capturing research with Save to RefWorks video for a detailed demonstration of this utility.
