UC Library Media Space Help

This guide provides help and FAQs for the UC Library Media Space, including Kaltura.

What is Kaltura?

Kaltura is a campus media (video and audio) distribution system similar to YouTube. Your media is automatically converted to formats playable across most devices.

The Kaltura media engine differs from other streaming media services because your media content can be viewed worldwide, campus-wide, only by a specific class, only by UC Libraries staff, or only by you.  In this way users of Kaltura at UC can protect their privacy and intellectual property rights.
