What Is a Poster Presentation?

Poster presentations are a great way to share your work at professional conferences and scholarly events. A poster presentation is less formal than a slide show presentation in that the presenter stands by their poster until a passer-by (or judge) indicates interest in learning more. At that point, the presenter tells the story of their project using the poster as a visual aid. Click the links below to learn the mechanics of creating a poster in PowerPoint and how to design an aesthetically appealing poster.
