Reaxys is a web-based search and retrieval system for chemical compounds¸ bibliographic data and chemical reactions. Combined data from three sources: The Beilstein Database¸ The Gmelin Database¸ and The Patent Chemistry Database
For organized and simplistic searching of substances, references, and suppliers in chemistry applications. You can link references to reactions and create synthesis plans from published sources. Highlights of searching on Reaxys include being able to look at physical and spectra data.
In order to plan your researching, use this guide to understand the differences, similarities, strengths, and weaknesses of the CAS SciFiner-n and Elsevier Reaxys searching.
About Reaxys
The Reaxys database (produced by Elsevier) contains information that will help you find preparations and specific transformations, measured substance property and bioactivity data, and citations to articles and patents containing research information.
Browse and register for UC Libraries workshops. Workshop topics include foundational python topics, GitHub, LaTeX, Julia, Matlab, Swift, SciFinder, Reaxys, and more. New workshops are added each semester.
