Search the IT@UC knowledgebase.  Once the library is open again, stop by the Health Sciences Library Computer Lab Help Desk and work with the lab assistant to set up UC secure wireless on your device.

Software and Hardware

UC negotiates with vendors for discounted rates on computers, other hardware and software for the personal use by students, faculty and staff.

Discounts are also available for residents and fellows. Call the IT@UC Help Desk at 513-556-4357 and state that you are a resident or fellow interested in discounted hardware/software.

Requesting a Name Change

  • A resident needing a name change must contact the university Human Resources (HR) department at 513-556-6381. 
  • Once HR puts the new name in the UC system, the resident can contact the Help Desk (513-556-HELP) and request a name change for their account.  Human Resources must have the name change on file before account name change requests will be processed. 
  • Due to security concerns, only the resident/user may request a name change for their email/network account.
