Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) Information and Study Materials

Welcome to the Ohio Assessments for Educators: Resources and Tips guide which will help navigate the educator licensure tests.

The Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) are provided by the Evaluation Systems Group of Pearson, and measure professional, pedagogical and subject-specific knowledge and skills. Both the pedagogical and content knowledge areas were formerly assessed in the PRAXIS II tests, which for the majority of content areas, have been replaced by these OAE tests.

Praxis Core Information and Study Materials

Some pre-cohort students may be required to take Praxis Core tests. See below for excellent free resources to help you prepare for the Praxis Core.

Includes practice tests for Praxis Core. Use the search box in the upper right corner to search for Praxis or navigate to available Praxis Core practice tests under the teacher section on the career menu.
