  • Use the KEYWORD search to combine specific search criteria; for example:

"popular music" and criticism

hip hop and language

  • Do a SUBJECT search and browse subject headings to discover a variety of publication types.

  • If you are looking for information about a person or a band, you want to do a Subject Search (for example, Dylan, Bob).
    If you are looking for works or interviews, do an Author Search (for example, Dylan, Bob).
