Do not include AI tools as entries in your Reference List. Instead include a statement after the Reference List that you used Generative AI in your work (detail how you used AI, and outline the prompts, if your instructor requires their inclusion)
Include In-Text References
- Format: Name of AI Tool, type of communication, Month/Day/Year
- Example in Parentheses after Text: (ChatGPT, response to question from author, May 23, 2025)
- Example within Text: ChatGPT (May 23, 2025) gave the following response to my prompt……
