How to Use This Page

The OhioLINK Training and Documentation Working Group (Ostaff login required) has been tasked with developing online and in-person training to support all OhioLINK libraries:

Alma/Primo Sandbox Environment

What is a Sandbox?

The sandbox environment is an Alma environment with a generic data sample that allows you to start “playing around” with the system and get familiar with Alma prior to the project start date. This sandbox environment will also be used for training purposes. The sandbox contains:

Approximately 60,000 bib records and 70,000 items
Several user groups with user circulation activities
40+ vendors, and active ledgers and funds
Sample POs, PO Lines, invoices and invoice lines
Activated free e-resources
Z39.50 configurations have been created for access to LC, British Library, WorldCat
Analytics not configured
