Mental Health Resources

The UC Libraries has a variety of resources that support student, faculty, and staff mental health. These include both books and research resources on the topic and items that promote stress relief.

Books in the UC Libraries Catalog

There are many helpful books in the library catalog.  You can find them using the recommended search terms including - mental health, well being, self-care.  To narrow your results you can search within your list for a specific population i.e. students, adults, children, use AND/OR to combine keywords, and use punctuation tricks such as asterisk *, parenthesis (...), or quotes "..." to further refine your search.

The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County has a wide range of materials for both recreational and research reading. UC students can borrow.

CEAS Board Game collection

The CEAS Library board game collection provides a mix of designer games, party games, and classic games for check out to expand access to tabletop gaming and strengthen the UC student community. 

Check Out Details

The games in the collection can be checked out by members of the UC community for 7 days at a time in the CEAS Library on the 8th floor of Baldwin Hall. Games can be renewed once and must be returned to the circulation desk. Please don't place our games in the book drop.  

Report an Issue or Make a Recommendation

Is a game missing a piece? Is one of the cards ripped? Is there a specific game you'd like to see added to the collection? Let us know! 

Please be nice to the games so many others can enjoy them. We ask that you keep food and drinks away from the games but things happen. Before returning, check that all components of the game are present.  If you find any issues with the games, please report it at the link below.
