Circulation and Reserves services are available at the Circulation Desk which is immediately on right as you enter the library. Reserves are located in a room behind the Circulation Desk and may be checked out for a two-hour period. Much of the Law Library collection does not circulate because it consists of multi-volume sets, loose-leaf services, or other materials that must be regularly updated and readily available to all library users. For those materials that do circulate, primarily treatises, the lending period runs until the end of the semester. Renewals may be made in person, through the online catalog, or by telephone at 556-3016. Check your account and renew books through My Library Record.
You can access UCLID, the library's online catalog, from any computer connected to the Internet whether on-campus or off-campus.
You can use the search box below to see if a book is available in our library or another UC library.
When you find a title through UCLID, the online catalog, that is owned by another library:
The book will be delivered to the Law Library and we will deliver it to you when it arrives. Be aware that it may take 3 or more days to arrive. The Law Library does not have the authority to waive fines from other libraries. Check your account and renew books at My Library Record.
If a book you want is not available at UC, you may be able to find and borrow it through the OhioLINK. Be sure and check UCLID first. OhioLINK is also accessible through UCLID (click the search OhioLINK button).

Library staff members will also pick up books that need to be returned to the Law Library or other libraries. The cart for this service is located near the faculty mailboxes. Please send books from other libraries to the Law Library at least 3 business days before the due date.
