ICPSR

ICPSR offers curated data storage to those affiliated with member institutions, for free.  

Data depositied is reviewed, cleaned, and indexed for ease of access and findability. Data used from the collection is traced via the bibilographic citation database.  Restricted data is stored and access is allowed only through vetted, registered users.  See the guide to start sharing data for more information.

openICPSR is available to anyone who has a need to upload data to a repository open to the public.

• Data uploaded will be assigned a DOI, which means it can be cited. However, it is not curated.  Storage space of up to 30 gig is available. For more information, see the guidelines. 
• Some journals and associations use openICPSR for data set submission.
