Hoover's Online is a database of public and private company reports and Industry studies. Search by: Company name¸ Ticker symbol¸ Keyword Person's last name. UC has access also to the Members Only sections which includes the Hoovers in-depth Company Profiles where you will find sales leads¸ business contacts¸ investment ideas¸ financial information and competitive intelligence information including a list of competitiors.

ORBIS (Bureau van Dijk)
ORBIS contains 200 million companies worldwide and is searchable using hundreds of criteria. ORBIS contains the following types of data: company financials in a standardized format; financial strength indicators; Country profiles and outlook from the EIU; Directors and contacts; Original filings/images; Stock data for listed companies; detailed corporate structures; Market research; Business and company-related news; M&A deals and rumors. The database includes corporate family trees in diagram format. You can also create and analyze peer groups.
Factiva
Factiva's business information includes Dow Jones and Reuters Newswires and The Wall Street Journal¸ plus more than 8¸000 other sources from around the world. These sources provide current news¸ historical articles¸ local-language articles¸ and stock quotes. Factiva provides access to more than 900 non-English sources. Factiva provides access to key content in 22 languages from 118 countries not available on the free Web. Many of the full-text articles go back to 1980.
