Evaluating a journal may include a subjective assessment as well as quantitative metrics.
Where To Start:
Look at journals that you read, that your colleagues read and publish in, and the journals that you cite in your work. Remember to always check that the journal title and ISSN match the journal that you're viewing.
Questions To Consider:
Search for journals within a specific discipline, get publisher contact information, learn about the review process and submission guidelines, get overviews on citation analysis tools and instructions, and more.
