EndNote

EndNote is available in three versions:  EndNote Desktop, EndNote Online Institutional account and EndNote Basic.  The desktop product is available for purchase from the University of Cincinnati Bookstore.  All UC students, faculty and staff may set up a free institutional EndNote Online account.  EndNote Basic is available to anyone.  See the EndNote Online Quick Reference card below for a clarification of the differences and combination capacities of these products.

• EndNote Desktop (This is the premier citation and reference management tool, and it is even more robust if combined with the  EndNote Online institutional account.  The most recent version of EndNote is X9; here is a version comparison table to highlight the major differences between EndNote versions X7 -- X9.)


• EndNote Online Institutional Account (quasi functional stand alone citation and reference management tool that has added capabilities and capacities due to the UC Libraries institutional subscription to the Web of Knowledge research literature database)


• EndNote Basic (quasi functional stand alone citation and reference management tool with storage and filter limits and no technical service support)
