Information about using EndNote

Exporting References into your EndNote Library

Exporting is usually the quickest and most convenient option for adding multiple references to your EndNote library, and the direct export option is available from most research literature databases. The process is simple.  You search your favorite databases, e.g., ABI Inform, PubMed (version X6 & X7 or EndNote), PsycINFO, or SocINDEX, and then export your selected references directly into EndNote without ever leaving the database.  The following video tutorials will show you how to directly export from some of the more popular literature database vendors.  Text instructions for additional databases or vendors, e.g. Summon, Scopus and ProQuest, are available from the UC Libraries EndNote X7 Workbook
