Fiction holdings are classified into sub-sections including:

  • Easy picture books
  • Beginning readers
  • Juvenile fiction
  • Young adult fiction
  • Graphic novels
  • Big books

Non-fiction holdings are divided into two sub-sections, with biographies separated from the general non-fiction/informational books.

The CECH Library is also the proud home of the Kretschmer Collection of Native American Children’s Literature, a unique special collection of children’s and young adult literature titles written and/or illustrated by Native Americans. The Mary Louise Schroth Charitable Trust also funded the purchase of more than 2,500 children’s and young adult books in these collections.
