To find DVDs in the UC Libraries collection use the catalog Keyword search. Scroll down and under "Sound recording" select "DVD."

Alternatively, use "videorecording" as one of you search terms, for example:
gender and videorecording

To search for a specific video in Summon, enter the search criteria and click on "Streaming Video" under "Content Type".

Access World News
A database of articles from 1,700 U.S. and international full-text information sources, mostly newspapers and wire services. Very useful for access to state-by-state coverage.

Kanopy (Streaming Video Service)
Beginning August 19, 2019, University of Cincinnati Libraries will be moving from a Patron Driven Acquisition model to a Mediated Model for all Kanopy Streaming video titles. More information about this change can be found at https://guides.libraries.uc.edu/Kanopy/FAQ
Please note that all currently licensed films will still be available for immediate viewing, and a request form will only be presented when clicking on unlicensed films.
Films on Demand - Streaming Videos
Films On Demand is a web-based digital video delivery platform that allows viewing of streaming videos from Films Media Group.
Naxos Video Library
The Naxos Video Library is a performing arts video library with over 300 operas¸ ballets¸ documentaries¸ live concerts¸ and musical tours of historic places. It includes the Naxos DVD label¸ Opus Arte¸ Arthaus¸ Dacapo¸ EuroArts¸ among others and is continuously updated to offer the best selection of performing arts videos.

Open Video Project
The purpose of the Open Video Project is to collect and make available a repository of digitized video content for the digital video, multimedia retrieval, digital library, and other research communities. Researchers can use the video to study a wide range of problems, such as tests of algorithms for automatic segmentation, summarization, and creation of surrogates that describe video content; the development of face recognition algorithms; or creating and evaluating interfaces that display result sets from multimedia queries.
