Information Literacy Course Content at UCBA

This content introduces students to a college library. It can also be used to introduce the UCBA Library. The activity and/or videos can be used with groups or individuals and as a first year experience or icebreaker activity.

Learning Outcomes:

• Differentiate between high school, public, and college libraries
• Introduce resources available to students through the UCBA Library

Use in Canvas: As part of an ungraded or graded introduction to UCBA and college resources or as an introduction to the UCBA Library

Instructions:

• Reflect on past experiences using high school and/or public library 
• Discuss new experiences and/or expectations for using a college library
• Note the differences between the UCBA Library and a public library using their respective web sites
