Litigation is simply the trial of cases in international courts such as the International Court of Justice, the Court of Justice of the EU, and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The defendants must agree to such litigation and both parties must agree to follow the judgment. The judgments and opinions are nearly always published. The following is a list of the places that these documents can be found. Each entry has information on where it can be found, usually a link to the court's website. They are arranged geographically in the following order: global, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. There are no such international courts for North America or Asia.
