Welcome to the University of Cincinnati Libraries' EndNote portal. The purpose of this portal is to connect UC students, faculty and staff with the information and resources they may require to effectively utilize EndNote.  What is EndNote???

How to use the EndNote Portal

Click on the category tabs on the left to access or identify resources OR use the Search box above to enter keywords, e.g,, backup or full text, for your topic or resource need.

EndNote is a citation and reference management software program

EndNote facilitates the collection and management of reference citations, including full text documents.

EndNote can facilitate many of the most tedious aspects of your research work by empowering you to:

  • Easily format bibliographies, footnotes and in-text citations into almost any output style, including over 5,000 styles.

  • Sync your desktop based personal EndNote database with EndNote online to access it 24/7 anywhere you have Internet access, includes unlimited free storage for references & full text attachments.
  • Sync your EndNote with multiple computers or devices, including the IPad.
  • Share your references with colleagues anywhere in the world
