This Code is a guide to the ethical conduct required of AICP members. The Code also informs the public of the principles to which professional planners are committed.

This outline offers candidates preparing to take the exam insight into the 5 major topic areas of the exam. Examples are provided for most categories, but the questions are not confined to those examples. The percentage of exam questions pertaining to each major topic area is indicated.
